The title remained part of the police award system for decades before being renamed “Glory of the Police” in 1996.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe badge is an elaborate multipiece composition built on a silver-toned, shield-shaped base covered in rich cobalt-blue enamel. Above is the enameled flag of the Mongolian People’s Republic, while the large central gilt medallion presents an unusually detailed panorama of the state emblem of MPR, a mounted horseman beneath the rising sun, livestock portraits and the abbreviation БНМАУ, all enclosed by traditional hammer ornament.
