Their relationship subsequently developed through political delegations, cultural exchanges, trade, and official visits; Mongolian delegations continued visiting the DPRK throughout the 1970s, including government-level visits in 1975, 1978 and 1979. Friendship insignia formed part of the broader visual culture surrounding these socialist-era international relationships, and period Mongolian–North Korean friendship badges are documented in specialist collections, although numerous distinct designs and variations exist.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis particularly attractive example combines the national flags of the Mongolian People’s Republic and North Korea in a flowing, overlapping composition.
