Unlike the nationwide revolutionary and state jubilee medals of Mongolia, this decoration belongs to a much narrower local tradition, commemorating the history and identity of one individual sum and the generations of residents connected with it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe medal is an unusually large-format suspended construction, measuring approximately 8 cm overall, and is executed in gilt-colored metal with extensive multicolored enamel. The upper suspension is finished in Mongolia’s red-blue-red national colors and prominently carries “80 Years.” Below hangs a large circular medallion framed by a dark-blue Mongolian hammer pattern border. Its central landscape depicts a white horse galloping across a green steppe beneath a rising sun and mountain, a strongly Mongolian composition built around land, livestock and local identity, while the lower inscription reads “Tuvshinshiree.” The rich sky-blue, green, brown, white and dark-blue enamels give the piece a far more substantial visual presence than ordinary local badges.
