Original Item – Only One Available. This 1946 Mongolian People’s Revolution 25th Anniversary Medal was issued to commemorate a quarter century since the founding of the Mongolian People’s Republic in 1921. Awarded to distinguished participants and contributors during the socialist era, it reflects the consolidation of Mongolia’s revolutionary legacy alongside its close ties with the Soviet Union.
Produced by the Moscow Artists’ Cooperative, this early issue is of exceptional quality, featuring a radiant gilt starburst design with enamel suspension, decorated with five symbolic animal motifs representing Mongolia’s pastoral heritage. The reverse bears the serial number 178, placing it among the very first medals awarded, an extraordinarily low number rarely encountered in today’s market.
Early numbered examples of this issue are exceptionally scarce, and pieces under 200 are seldom encountered, making this medal a highly desirable acquisition for serious collectors of Mongolian and socialist-era decorations.
