Original 1970s Mongolian People’s Army senior officer ribbon bar featuring three important Mongolian military and state award ribbons: the Order of Sukhbaatar, the Mongolian Order of the Red Banner of Combat Valor, and the 1945 Mongolian “We Won” Victory Over Japan Medal. This combination represents a highly decorated officer or veteran associated with major state, military, and wartime honors of the Mongolian People’s Republic period.
The bar is constructed in the classic Soviet-style format used by Mongolian officers, with mounted fabric ribbons on a metal backing and a long horizontal pin attachment on the reverse. Ribbon bars with early and high-ranking Mongolian decorations are considerably harder to find, especially when retaining original period construction.
