This is an exceptionally rare rhombus badge issued by the Mongolian State Security’s Special Military Academy, a short-lived institution that operated between 1974 and 1982. Reserved exclusively for graduates of this elite training school, the badge signified completion of one of the most restricted and specialized programs within socialist Mongolia’s security apparatus.
