Description
Original Item – Only One Available. This is an authentic Mongolian Police 50th Anniversary Honorary Badge, instituted in 1971 to commemorate fifty years of the country’s law enforcement service. Designed in the form of a red enamel star with a central blue shield bearing the Soyombo emblem and the number “50,” it symbolizes five decades of dedication to public security and order.
What makes this example exceptionally rare is that it comes as a complete set with the original ribbon, an accessory from the same era that is seldom preserved. Both the badge and ribbon remain in excellent condition, retaining their original enamel and fittings. The reverse of the badge is inscribed “Honorary Badge of the Police”.
Issued in limited numbers to mark this milestone, sets like this have become difficult to find, making it a distinguished acquisition for collectors of Mongolian and socialist-era police and security service decorations.
