This commemorative badge was issued in 1982 to mark the 60th anniversary of Mongolia’s State Security service, the counterpart and close ally of the Soviet KGB during the Cold War. It features bold red and green enamel with the number 60 prominently displayed beneath the MPA star and sword emblem of state authority.
