Original Item – Only One Available. This anniversary badge was issued in 2001 to mark the 10th anniversary of FAPSI, the Federal Agency of Government Communications and Information, Russia’s powerful intelligence body that inherited the KGB’s signals and cryptography directorates. Designed in the traditional sword-and-shield format, it bears the double-headed eagle of the Russian Federation over the national tricolor, with the years 1991–2001 commemorating a decade of operations. Produced by the Saint Petersburg Mint with official hallmark.

Produced in limited numbers and awarded only to agency personnel, this badge was never intended for public distribution. Since FAPSI was dissolved in 2003 and its functions absorbed into the FSB, SVR, and FSO, authentic pieces are scarce, and hard to obtain.
