Original pair of Russian Ministry of Defense medals “To the Participant of the March on June 12, 1999 Bosnia–Kosovo,” representing both the scarce nickel silver issue and the tombac issue. Awarded to personnel who took part in or supported the legendary forced march from Bosnia to Kosovo, these medals honor courage, bravery, and valor in one of the most notable post–Cold War Russian airborne operations. The obverse shows an armored vehicle beneath a deployed parachute and two aircraft with the inscription “Босния – Косово,” while the reverse reads “Участнику Марш-Броска 12 июня 1999 г.” with a space for serial numbering. Complete with original silk ribbons in blue and orange, this matching set is a rare opportunity for advanced collectors to acquire both variants of a historically significant Russian military decoration.
