Original Issued Items. This matched pair of Mongolian Armed Forces camouflage shoulder boards represents the Major General rank and dates to the 2000s period. These boards feature the traditional Ulzii ornamental motif executed in gold and red embroidery on a camouflage textile base intended for field and operational uniforms.

In later service, Mongolian general-rank camouflage insignia transitioned to a five-pointed star design, making this earlier Ulzii-pattern variant a discontinued and short-lived issue. Discontinued Ulzii-design general officer insignia are rarely encountered today, especially as a complete matched pair in camouflage.
