Description

Original Item – Only One Available. This is a complete parade full dress uniform of a Major Officer of the Mongolian Army, dating from the early 2000s. The set includes the officer’s visor cap, tunic with full insignia and mounted decorations, golden parade belt, and regulation trousers, presenting the prestige and authority of a senior field-grade officer.

The tunic is of official issue in dark green wool-blend fabric, tailored to modern Mongolian Army specifications with scarlet piping on the sleeves and trousers. The shoulder boards bear the rank of Major, with gilded buttons struck with the Soyombo national emblem. A finely made gold bullion parade aiguillette is mounted on the right shoulder, underscoring its ceremonial use.

Displayed on the tunic are many medals and badges, including anniversary, long service, and commemorative awards reflecting distinguished service. Condition is excellent, almost in pristine condition. The set is fully complete and ready for display, including tunic, shirt, tie, trousers, belt, visor cap, and mounted awards.

This parade uniform was discontinued in the early 2010s, making complete decorated sets such as this one exceptionally scarce on the market. It stands as an important representation of Mongolia’s military heritage at the turn of the 21st century.

A museum-quality acquisition, this uniform embodies the continuity of Mongolia’s armed forces into the modern era. Rarely offered internationally, it is a centerpiece item for advanced collectors of Mongolian, post-Soviet, and Cold War militaria.
