2010s Mongolian Border Troops Colonel's Full Parade Uniform – Complete with Aiguilette, Parade Belt & Awards Group, Original Issue

Original Item – Only One Available. The 2010s colonel parade uniform of the Mongolian Border Troops. This uniform is executed in the light sky-blue cloth of the modern Mongolian military, with dark forest green collar piping along the cuffs and trouser legs, and black welt detailing on the breast pockets.

The shoulder boards with green underlay and piping, each carrying three silver stars and the Soyombo button for the rank of colonel. The collar tabs are black cloth with gold wreath embroidered. All gilt buttons carry the Soyombo, the national emblem of Mongolia. The left sleeve bears the embroidered "Mongol" tab over the Border Guard patch with eagle and border post.

The awards are mounted as a four piece on the wearers left, including the medal of the “90th Anniversary of the Mongolian People's Revolution”, the medal of the ”Veteran of the Border Guard”, the long service medal of the ”Glory of the Border Guard 1st class”, and the 800th Anniversary of the Great Mongol State medal bearing the portrait of Genghis Khan. On the wearers right side are two breast badges: the Excellent Border Guard badge and the 70th anniversary of the Border Protection Service. The set is complete with the matching sky-blue visor cap with green band and gold chinstrap, heavy gold parade aiguilette, gold parade belt with massive Soyombo buckle, and dark navy-blue trousers with green side piping.

The uniform measures approximately EU size 52 (US Large) with a size 58 visor cap, and is in very good lightly worn condition with original buttons and awards intact, and no damage to the cloth. Complete Mongolian Border Guard colonel sets are rarely encountered on the Western market, particularly as bespoke officer pieces with their original aiguilette, parade belt and full awards group, a strong opportunity to acquire a complete and original modern Mongolian Border Troops parade uniform.
