Original Item – Only One Available. A rare commemorative badge marking the 90th anniversary of Russian scientific and technical intelligence, dating the branch from 1925 to 2015. The SVR traces the formal beginning of this intelligence direction to 26 October 1925, when Felix Dzerzhinsky proposed organizing the systematic collection of foreign scientific and technological information. The branch later became widely known within the KGB First Chief Directorate as Directorate “T”, and its successor remained one of the specialized operational directions of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service.

The badge is an elaborate multipiece construction in gilt and silvered metal, formed as the traditional sword-and-shield emblem of the Russian security services. Its central field carries the enameled Russian tricolor beneath large applied letters “НТР”, while the raised numeral “90” records the anniversary. The surrounding shield is finished with textured panels, and a sword, producing a compact but strongly architectural design. 

Condition is excellent overall, with silvered finishes, clean white, blue, and red enamel, and only light handling marks visible under close photography. Directorate-specific SVR insignia was intended for a narrow professional circle, making this a particularly specialized addition to a collection of Russian foreign intelligence, KGB successor-service, or scientific and technical espionage material.
