Description
Original Item – Only One Available. A rare and imposing post-Soviet Central Asian security award, identified with the Kyrgyz foreign intelligence establishment and built on the classic Chekist shield-and-downturned-sword form inherited from the Soviet KGB. The design shares the visual language of the Russian SVR 85th anniversary badge, marking it as part of the KGB-successor intelligence tradition. At the center sits a superb red, gold, and turquoise enamel medallion bearing the Kyrgyz tunduk (yurt-crown, the emblem of the national flag), encircled by the motto "АТА-ЖУРТ – МИЛДЕТ – ЭРДИК" which means Fatherland – Duty – Valor. Below, an enameled banner carries the service abbreviations МКК / ЧБ / УКК around the bold red "65" anniversary numeral.
The badge is heavily struck and finished in two-tone silver and gilt, with a threaded screwback post and its original matching screwplate (shown separately). The reverse is individually stamped "N051", a low serial that points to a restricted institutional issue rather than a commercial commemorative. Enamels are bright and intact throughout, with honest age-toning to the metal consistent with a genuine issued piece. Awards from the Kyrgyz intelligence services are made in small circulation, rarely surface on the collector's market, and numbered examples retaining the original screwplate are scarcer still, a commanding anchor piece for advanced collections of KGB-successor and Central Asian intelligence insignia. Offered exactly as pictured.
