Original Item – Only One Available. This official badge represents the Academy of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB KR), named after Lieutenant General A. Bakayev. The academy was officially established and opened in October 2024 in Bishkek by presidential decree, becoming a specialized higher military educational institution responsible for training professional officers for national security structures.
The academy was created on the basis of the former Institute for Professional Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel and became the central scientific and methodological center for intelligence, counterintelligence, and operational training in Kyrgyzstan. Prior to its establishment, specialists for national security agencies were trained abroad, primarily within Russian security institutions, making this academy an important milestone in the development of Kyrgyz sovereign security education.
The badge features the traditional shield and sword composition associated with state security services, combined with academic symbolism reflecting officer training. The reverse retains its original screwback fastening marked by the manufacturer.
