Original Item – Only One Available. Rare official-issue anniversary badge, produced for the 80th Anniversary of Mongolia’s Foreign Intelligence Service. The badge carries a strong security-service design, with a silver-tone shield and sword background, red and blue enamel national colors, and a central gilt medallion with an eight-point star and raised foreign intelligence emblem.
This is a particularly desirable Mongolian intelligence badge, not a common mass-produced item. Compared with Russian SVR and other larger post-Soviet intelligence service badges, Mongolian Foreign Intelligence pieces were made in far smaller numbers due to the much smaller size of the service and limited internal distribution. For collectors of intelligence, KGB/SVR-related, and Mongolian state security memorabilia, this makes the badge significantly harder to obtain.
The reverse is fitted with a traditional screw-post fastening and retaining nut. A scarce and important Mongolian intelligence service badge, representing one of the more difficult modern state security commemoratives to acquire.
