The badge features a gilt starburst with dark-blue enamel details, the Mongolian Soyombo symbol at center, and the inscription “National Intelligence Academy” around the lower banner. The central medallion is marked “20”, commemorating the academy’s anniversary.
The National Intelligence Academy was originally established in 1997 under the name Higher School of the General Intelligence Agency, by order of the head of the General Intelligence Agency. In 2009, it was reorganized and strengthened under the name National Intelligence Academy. The academy serves as Mongolia’s specialized higher educational and research institution for preparing professional personnel connected with national security and intelligence service.
