Description
Original Item – Only One Available. This Mongolian Army honorary badge was issued to officer served in military construction unit named in honor of General Khatanbaatar Magsarjav, one of Mongolia’s most respected national commanders of the early 20th century. Units carrying his name were regarded with distinction within the armed forces, and internal awards connected to such formations were produced in strictly limited quantities for meritorious service.
The design reflects the identity of a construction and engineering formation within the army. A red five-point star rests over a radiating gilt base, crossed rifle and sword at the lower portion denote military status, while the central triangular emblem featuring industrial imagery clearly represents infrastructure and development responsibilities.
Honorary unit badges of this type were presented internally. As a result, they are seldom encountered outside Mongolia, particularly in preserved and complete condition. For collectors specializing in Mongolian Army insignia, elite named units, or rare military awards, this Khatanbaatar Magsarjav construction troops badge represents a scarce and historically meaningful addition to a serious collection.
