The plaque depicts the full national emblem of the MPR in bold raised relief, a mounted horseman galloping toward a rising sun with rays spreading across the background, flanked by wheat sheaves symbolizing agriculture, with an industrial gear at the base and a flowing banner bearing the Cyrillic abbreviation MPR. Crowning the design is the Soyombo within a five-pointed star, the unmistakable mark of the Mongolian socialist state. The detail and depth of the casting are remarkable, with every element from the horse's stride to the individual wheat grains rendered with real clarity and purpose.
