Original Item – Only One Available. A rare, large-format presentation badge of the Mongolian National Police Crime Investigation Department. Substantially larger and more imposing than an ordinary uniform badge, this departmental piece was produced for formal presentation or ceremonial display within Mongolia’s criminal-investigation service and measures approximately 8 cm in height.

The elaborate multipiece design is centered on the Mongolian Police falcon emblem, framed by concentric rings of deep blue, light blue and white enamel. A gilt Soyombo rises above the composition, while laurel branches, a downward-pointing sword and balanced scales of justice emphasize the department’s investigative and legal authority. The rich gilt finish and sharply contrasting red-and-blue enamel give the plaque considerable visual presence. The reverse retains its original horizontal pin fastening on a plain copper-toned backplate.

Condition is excellent on the front, with bright gilding, strong relief and well-preserved enamel throughout. The reverse shows expected surface scratches, handling marks and natural age-related wear, all clearly represented in the photographs. Large departmental police plaques of this type appear far less frequently than standard Mongolian service badges, making this an impressive centerpiece for an advanced collection of Mongolian law-enforcement, criminal-investigation or modern state-security insignia.
