Description
Original Item – Only One Available. The Battle of Khasham medal, presented under the auspices of the elite “ISIS Hunters” unit, a formation built on tight Russian-Syrian cooperation and frequently augmented by Wagner personnel for targeted operations against lingering Daesh pockets. Suspended from the green and white ribbon, this starburst medal shows a fighter firing against US Apache helicopter, framed by radiating rays and on the obverse side, inscription: “Not defeated. Not broken”. On the reverse side the inscription reads: “To the feat of the Russian and Syrian brothers.”
It is directly associated with the February 7, 2018, Battle of Khasham (Conoco Fields incident) near Al Tabiyeh in Deir ez-Zor Governorate, where a pro-government force, including Wagner-affiliated elements, advanced toward a U.S. supported SDF position at the Conoco gas plant. The clash, lasting several hours, involved artillery and heavy U.S. airstrikes that halted the assault. The engagement remains one of the few instances of direct kinetic contact between Russian-aligned and American forces in Syria, occurring despite deconfliction protocols and underscoring the tense control of strategic energy infrastructure.
Housed in its original velvet case, the medal is accompanied by the exceptionally rare award document, bearing fighter number, the deputy commander’s signature, and the authentic ISIS Hunters stamp. This award set described in collector circles as "one of the rarest Wagner awards ever."
