This rare For Combat Valour medal was awarded exclusively to Wagner fighters and members of the elite “ISIS Hunters” unit for their combat role in the Syrian campaign against ISIS. The obverse depicts a five-pointed star with crossed swords and radiating rays, suspended from a red ribbon with yellow edge stripes. The reverse bears the bilingual inscription “Unity for Victory over Terrorism” together with Arabic script, underscoring its direct connection to joint Russian–Syrian operations.
