Original Item – Only One Available. This is a finely struck SVR merit-and-distinction badge awarded to an Outstanding Security Officer, the top-performing employee of Security Department. Encircling the globe, a deep red enamel band carries the SVR motto "Fatherland, Valour, Honour" punctuated by three stars. Two royal-blue enamel banners sweep beneath the wreath bearing the award title, "Outstanding Security Officer."
Construction is heavy and substantial, executed in multi-tone metal with the silvered star, gilt wreath, and richly fired enamels giving the piece real depth and presence in hand. The reverse (shown) carries the manufacturer's marking of Spetsznak, one of the established Russian firms producing departmental, military, and security-service insignia, along with the threaded screw-back fitting and matching screw plate typical of quality issue badges of this type. Both the badge and its retaining nut are present and intact, with light handling wear to the reverse consistent with age and storage.
