Description

Original Item – One of a Kind. This 1980s field visor cap was issued to a General in the Mongolian People’s Army, representing one of the highest ranks within the nation's Cold War-era military structure. Constructed in olive-green wool with red piping and a glossy visor, it features the MPA enamel star emblem of the era and in near mint condition.

Unlike the Soviet military, Mongolia maintained an exceptionally selective command structure. Since the establishment of the general rank in 1944, only 224 individuals have ever held this title across 80 years of Mongolian military history. As a result, authentic general-rank items were rarely produced and are seldom seen on the collector’s market today.

This cap is not just a uniform component — it's a historic symbol of Mongolia's military elite and an ultra-rare Cold War-era collector’s artifact.
